Bates Township

I love this Home Of sign almost as much as Bates Township loves Nick Baumgartner.

First of all it looks as if this sign was created just for Nick. It wasn’t just added on to the regular green city limits sign.

It is the “Proud” Home Of, not just the Home Of.

It has the snowboard guy and the Olympic Rings.

Nicely done Bates Township, nicely done!

He didn’t medal at the Olympics but got a couple of Bronzes at the World Championships in 2009 and 2015.

He also won Gold in the X-Games in 2011 and Silver in 2012.

Nick races trucks now, and had done quite well, earning Rookie of the Year while competing in the Traxxas TORC Series Off Road Short Course Racing.
