Richie Jordan, AKA the Fennville Flash, is considered by many to be the greatest high school student-athlete ever in Michigan. This is kind of hard to believe, but he played 4 sports in high school – football, basketball, baseball, and track. He lettered in all 4 for 4 years (16 Varsity letters) AND was All-State in each sport!
His best sport may have been basketball where, as a senior, he averaged 44 points per game as a senior – which is still a state record!
He batted .550 in his last year of baseball and he led his track team to a third-place finish in the state meet.
Richie went on to Michigan State playing basketball for two years before focusing just on baseball.
