8 man football has been great for some of the small towns in Michigan and the players in those towns.
Port Sanilac, and nearby Carsonville combined to form a team.
They switched to 8 man football and went undefeated in 2009 but…the MHSAA had not yet sanctioned 8 man football. They did in 2010 and the Tigers won it all.
The game was played against Rapid River in the Superior Dome aka the Yooper Dome.
The Tigers rolled to a 59-20 victory.
We stayed a place in Port Sanilac for a weekend. We went into town, went into a hardware store and saw this shirt. It is now my favorite shirt to wear when looking for signs.
