Sandusky

One night, while driving to Port Sanilac, my daughter and I detoured just to drive through Sandusky. 

My friend Sean’s parents retired and moved to Sandusky. He was a retired Marine and among other things I remember he had a clock and the 12 hour signals were composed of the 12 ranks he had during the course of his career.

The girls team lost to St. Ignace in the finals. 

Sandusky also produced one of the top girls basketball players in the state.

Marissa DeMott was the Class C Player of the Year and set state records of 55 free throws in a row and career free throw percentage – 88%
