Sometimes when driving through a city if we don’t see a sign we’ll try a different path. (If we don’t see a sign as we come down from the north or up from the south we might try coming in from the east or west).

We drove through Auburn and didn’t see anything (not a city sign anyway) and as we were turning around and saw this gem.

Alex Izykowski won bronze in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. He was part of the American 5000M Relay.

Even watching this 15 years later it was still exciting. I wish I knew then that a guy from NE MI was competing.
