Who likes broiled chicken?

Apparently a lot of people do as the Famous Chicken Broil serves up nearly 10,000 dinners in just 4 hours!

The festival, which started in the 1950s and takes place every July, serves up a meal that consists of:

• 1/2 chicken
• Roll with butter
• Famous recipe cole slaw
• Radishes
• Chips
• Water

Tickets are $11 in advance and $12 the day of the event.

Proceeds go right back into the Manchester community. It has supported the public schools, community parks, library and local civic organizations. The Chicken Broil has raised over $750,000 for Manchester!
