Auburn

 

Yeah, I know this isn’t a typical city sign but I wanted to include it for a few reasons.

1. After logging over 1000 miles driving around NE MI we found very few signs. If we counted this one it would give us 10 for the weekend. So I counted it.
2. I’ve never had one, the reviews were pretty good and Willyburger just sounds like something fun to order.
3. The Auburn Hotel said on their Facebook page that the forced “pause” in November of 2020 was the final nail in the coffin for them. I chose this sign as an homage to all of the Michigan bars and restaurants that were permanently closed by questionable legislation. R.I.P.

(Auburn is also the home of Bay City Western High School and a bunch of athletic and academic achievements that were apparently not a big enough deal to warrant a Home Of sign)
