Farmington

Kristen Haglund was a Miss Oaklnad County, Miss Michigan and Miss America. She followed in the footsteps of her grandmother who represented Michigan in the Miss America pageant in 1944!

Kristen used her platform as Miss America to educate about eating disorders, as she suffered from Anorexia as a young girl.

After her time as Miss America, Kristen started a non-profit – the Kristen Haglund Foundation to “provide hope, networking, and financial aid to those seeking treatment and freedom from eating disorders.”

Kristen is a frequent speaker and commentator and currently lives in Switzerland.
