Armada

I had been to and through the city of Armada many, many times before I got a tip from some friends that there was a sign here.

I had been to the Armada Fair and to Blakes Cider Mill but never on a rout that took us past this sign.

I like unique signs and accomplishments and while the Bowling Trophies are great and the FIRST Robotics title is awesome, the Clay Target League is something that I had never heard of.

According to their site: The USA High School Clay Target League is a division of the USA Clay Target League – a non-profit corporation. The League is the independent provider of clay target shooting sports as an extracurricular co-ed and adaptive activity for high schools and students in grades 6 through 12. The League’s priority are safety, fun, and marksmanship – in that order.

There are over 100 Michigan schools that are involved.

Armada also won the JV State Championship in 2018.
