Ubly

 

Friends of ours used to own some property near Ubly and we’d go up every Labor Day.

We usually ran into town once or twice a weekend and saw this this sign every time.

The Bearcats won their titles based largely in part to their dominant relay teams.

In 2006 the two individual titles were in the 3200 relay and 1600 relay.

In 2007 the won the relays again and Jade Kaufman won the 200 and 400.

The 3200 Relay team of Kayla Kubacki, Chelsey Kubacki, Jennifer White and Kylee Kubacki set a  LP Division 4 record that still stands (9:28.88).

The 1600 Relay team of Kayla Kubacki, Lyndsay White, Andrea Hill and Jade Kaufman also set a  LP Division 4 record that still stands (4:04:48).
