Grand Blanc

 

This sign was very elusive for me.

First of all it’s great sign. Mark Ingram played three years at Grand Blanc (His senior year he transferred to Flint Southwestern Academy his senior year). He had a great career at Alabama where he won the Heisman as a sophomore.

But back to the sign. It is off of northbound I-75 and there’s no really good place to pull over.

After seeing it several times and thinking – “Oh, I need that one but I’m doing 80 mph and now it’s gone.”

And to complicate things there is nothing really around it so there were no landmarks to go on.

One day while heading up north I just had my camera out for miles ready to take pictures as we flew by.

We finally got it.

This picture makes me think after finding a sign we might need to strike a Home Of pose ala the Heisman pose…
