Elsie

Sometimes you drive through a city and see some of their accomplishments but they are missing those two pivotal words – Home Of.

They’ll just say something like “2004 Class B Competitive Cheer State Champs” and there is a little sting of disappointment about what could have been. (For this site not for the cheer team. They won it all in 2005 too!)

So I’ve got that feeling that is half disappointment and half frustration and then my eagle-eyed friend Tim sees this beauty painted on the side of the wall of a building  in downtown Elsie!

And suddenly all was well…
