Ida

I’m glad we found this sign when there was snow on the ground, even if it was in January. The Christmas in Ida Festival and Light Parade takes place the first weekend in December and attracts 50,000+ visitors.

There are a lot of the typical Michigan small-town festival events like fod and fun runs and crafts and stuff. But there are also a lot of Christmas related activities like Lunch with Santa, Story time with Mrs. Claus and a dog with lights parade.

The Ida Bluestreaks (another great mascot name) have a nice softball thing going on.

In addition to the 3 titles they have 3 runner up trophy’s in their case. In two of their 3 titles they were the runner up the year before and got to the summit the next year.
