Springport

I remember this sign well. After a long day of Home Of Sign hunting, we were stuck on sign 199.

It was late on a Sunday. We did not see a sign on the outskirts of town, where they usually are. But we did see a sign for ice cream – T&N Dairy Kreme and decided to stop there, drown our sorrows with ice cream, and call it a night.

We looked up at the banners in town and, as Gomer Pyle would say, “Surprise, surprise, surprise!”

This was sign number 200 for our site!
