Watervliet

From what i am told, by the fine folks at the public library, the town is pronounced wah-ter-VLEET.

2023 started a nice string of events for the Watervliet Panthers.

The band won in 2023.

In 2024, the boys baseball team won the school’s first and only state championship in any sport with a 9-1 victory over Jackson Lumen Christi.

And in 2025, the band was at it again, winning another title.

I’ll be curious to see what happens in 2026!
