Mendon

 

There must be a name for this kind of structure that houses a number of signs for a town.

I see these regularly with signs for churches, civic organizations and occasionally a Home Of sign.

The Mendon Kiwanis Showboat is not a boat, it is an annual variety show that takes place at the elementary school.  It’s also the largest fundraiser for the local Mendon Kiwanis Club funding food programs and scholarships for the kids in the town of Mendon.

It takes place the first full weekend in November (as indicated by the changeable numbers at the bottom of the structure).

For the first 50 years or so they stuck to a Steamboat theme but now they have a new theme every year.
