So Monroe Jefferson High School is not in Monroe, it’s in Newport about 9 miles away. So I was torn on whether to put this sign under Monroe or Newport.
On one hand it says Monroe, but on the other hand it’s not accurate.
In the end I went with Monroe because it seemed like more work than I wanted to do to change it.
Monroe does have some potential great Home Of potential. George Custer grew up there.
La-Z-Boy headquarters is there.
So I’m calling on the city of Monroe to get this straight and get a Home Of sign for something closer to your city.
