What a great sign – I’m thinking Reader’s Digest took it in to account while naming Buchanon the Nicest Place in America!
Let’s start with Gage. He was a state wrestling champ in 2012 and 2013 and he was a runner-up in 2011. He had a nice college career at Eastern Michigan as well,
The Blossomtime Festival, established in 1906, touts itself as “Michigan’s oldest and largest multi-community Festival.”
The 3 Miss Blossomtime shown on the sign are certainly worthy of their accolades but there have also been others that have come from the city of Buchanon, including:
1926 – Gladyce Dempsey
1930 – Cecelia Eisenhart
1952 – Waiva Lenox
1981 – Cara Ann Hankila
And there have been a couple of Mr. Blossomtime winners as well:
2005 – Joshua Wahlstrom
2009 – Zack Devereaux
Some other kinda’ related stuff:
