New Allouez

George Brunet was a big left handed pitcher that played for many teams in the U.S. (KC, Milwaukee, Houston) and in Mexico.

He still has the minor league record for most strikeouts by a pitcher in a career with 3,175. (Kind of like the pitching equivalent of Crash Davis)

He really blossomed in Mexico. He pitched a no-hitter at 42 years old.

He retired at 54 after pitching for 36 seasons in professional baseball.

He was named to the Mexican Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999, 8 years after his death.
