Peck

The Peck Pirates ladies basketball team had quite a season in 1986.

They went a perfect 27-0, winning the title against Climax-Scotts by a score of 72-58. It may be the first state championship ever for a Sanilac County team.

The final game wasn’t nearly as close as the ones leading up to it, with 1-point victories over Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes (55- 54) and Ewen-Trout Creek (64-63).

Peck was led by all-state players Collen Bradley (19.0 points per game, 12.5 rebounds per game) and Char Durand (18.1 ppg, 11.6 rpg)
