It was quite a run for the young ladies of the Cros-Lex softball program!

Starting with placing 3rd in the world (actually it’s 3rd in the “World” series) in 2009, the 2010 Girls Little League softball team (ages 13-14) won the State Title.

And ending with the 2011 Little League Junior Division Softball World Series!

Very exciting times.

Here’s some articles about the 2011 World Series Championship team.

The Competitive Cheer sign is already out of date – or maybe incomplete. Coach Katie Tomlinson’s crew went back to back, winning it all again in 2024!

The swinging bridge is a pedestrian suspension bridge that crosses the Black River and is claimed to be the longest spanning suspension foot bridge in Michigan.

It was built in 1905 and spans 139 feet.  A festival to celebrate the bridge takes place the second weekend of August each year and features cardboard boat races under the bridge.
