Fowler

Lots of Wooden Mittens (slang for state championship trophies) are on display at Fowler High School.

There’s a good mix of sports there but it seems like the Eagles do a lot of damage in the running sports.

In addition to the 10 girls state titles they were runner up 8 more times. (The boys have 4 additional 2nd place finishes)

What you can’t see very well is the bottom sign which is the boys basketball championship in 1952 where they beat (the now defunct) Copemish High School 55-20.
