I spent a year at Saginaw Valley State College in the 80s. There wasn’t a lot to do if you were under 21.
My friend Joe and I we would occasionally hang out at Fashion Square Mall.
Sometimes we would go watch a movie
But most of the time if we were bored we would go to a bowling alley in town (luckily I had a sweet ’73 Chevy Nova) to play the Track and Field video game.
I know it sounds a little lame (and it was a little lame) but we got quite good and held most of the top scores.
There might be a little controversy. Kochville claims it’s the home of SVSU but their official mailing address says it’s in University Center.
