This is one of the very few Skiing State Championship signs we’ve come across in our travels.
According to this article in the Morning Sun (subscription required to read the complete article) this is the first state championship for the Hornets.
The coach, Travis Hill, moved on from Harrison and coached successfully at Petoskey until retiring.
Harrison made a video about their town and at the 29 second mark they show their sign!
This sign is also a favorite because it was the first Home of sign picture taken by my very adventurous friend Kristen.
