Alpena County

I never know what to say about a whole county.

Or a college in said county or city.

I can tell you Alpena Community College was named as one of the nation’s top 150 Community Colleges in 2017 (when it received the prestigious Aspen Award).

Another fun fact about ACC is that it offers one 4 year degree. You can get a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Systems Technology.

The Lumberjacks have a handful of sports teams. The men’s basketball coach is some kind of running maniac that has completed over 30 marathons and 2 100-mile races.
